THE BIAFRA RESTORATION VOICE (TBRV): CELEBRATING ONE YEAR OF VIBRANT PARTICIPATION IN THE BIAFRA RESTORATION PROJECT
The Biafra Restoration Voice (TBRV) is a media platform
that came into being exactly one year ago. Since its inception, it has
gradually but effectively thrust herself to the forefront as one of the
prominent platforms in the struggle to have Biafra's sovereignty restored. This
progress is not unconnected to the ebullient, determined, focused and diehard
nature of the individuals that constitute the leadership and membership of
TBRV.
TBRV has recorded milestone achievements in the areas of
active journalism, keeping the morale of Biafrans afloat as well as keeping the
enemy in perpetual state of sleeplessness ... The platform has indeed
successfully transformed itself into a golden voice of freedom and of reason.
Nonetheless, TBRV, like any other group ever formed
anywhere at any point in time, has had her challenges. These challenges can be
seen in the inadequacy of numbers needed to fully satisfy the ever-increasing
urge of the populace especially Biafrans for constant flow of information and
for encouragement. Another is sifting the truths from the lies in such an
enclave as Nigeria, where falsehood has almost become an acceptable norm. It is
not a truth farfetched that Nigeria have spent and still spending billions of
dollars in futile attempts at truncating the Biafran struggle. Parts of this
money have been used to affect the clandestine abduction and torture or
execution of members of the freedom movement, the media wing herself not spared.
Thus, members of TBRV are not unaware of the possible and associated dangers in
their ever-increasing role of deflating the lies of the enemy and helping in
throwing more light on the dark areas on our course to a free and independent
nation. However, these challenges, among several others, are offset by the ever-daunting
nature, consistency and dedication, of TBRV members.
Members of TBRV are also not unaware of the unfolding of
new events that pose new challenges. Of particular importance is the picking of
Mr. Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra state by Atiku as his vice-presidential
candidate. TBRV is also not unaware of the trick and how it was meant to bring
confusion and division among Biafrans and to ultimately truncate the Biafran
struggle and to undermine the resolve by Biafrans to boycott the Nigerian
general elections come 2019. TBRV is determined to give them a run for their
money by revealing their selfish games. The platform will continue to be
consistent in their call for election boycott even as she continues to unravel,
dissect and make bare, the dubiousness of the whole exercise and Nigeria as an
entity.
It is true that Biafrans are passing through a difficult
time currently. But beyond the dark tunnel is a gleam of light. TBRV is not
discouraged by the darkness in the tunnel. She is encouraged by the light at
the end of it knowing too well and believing in Chukwu Okike Abiama that we are
making it to the end. TBRV will continue to be resolute, focused and consistent
until the flag of freedom and hope is once again lifted in glory and honour.
God bless Biafra
God bless Biafrans all over the world
God bless Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
God bless and strengthen TBRV.
