THIS ALLIANCE

Mazi Nwabueze is being very reflective and in deep introspect. I have watched ball being played in this country so much so that I can predict formations and outcomes.

"Amotekun" is this really a player that the Yorubas have signed and its contract signed sealed, or is it a player on loan pending when the owners of the club take a decision?

Can we say that the Yoruba people really need Amotekun or is it an item of negotiation for 2023? Are all these noises we are hearing the secret heartbeat of Tinubu because the odds are against him in the APC presidential race?

I am really thinking out loud, I swear, I am thinking out loud. These people with the power of the media can shape your thought process without you knowing that somewhere, some people are the ones holding your voodoo doll while you act and react as they wish you to.

What if this thing is not really what it seems? What if this is still a kind of a reaction from some disgruntled selfish political elites? What if our bubble is somewhere in Tinubu's room floating without direction?

But, for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to declare support for it on Radio Biafra means a lot. He has many top Yoruba men that are close to him now. I know that man looks at things critically before delving or trusting.

If this Amotekun initiative is real and the motive genuine which is for the preservation and protection of the Yoruba people, then it is the beginning of a thing new. The South is actually going somewhere. I have often said it that the day the Yorubas are done with one Nigeria, that is the day that Nigeria will end. As for ndị Igbo, it has ended long ago, it is just the Yorubas that are keeping us here.

It is also good to note that the handshake between Fani Kayode and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu claps more than the jamboree that was organised by some people which Fani Kayode himself also graced. Look at what FFK is doing with Yoruba youths. He is telling them the present truth and nothing but the truth and most of them are welcoming it. These two men are really uniting Igbo and Yoruba. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu speaks and millions obey, FFK speaks and millions also obey. But do you know that those intellectuals from the two tribes still don't want to buy into it? It is the one that criminal politicians organise where money is shared and logging allowances given that they will recognise.

I must say that we should enjoy all that is happening now, the alliance and the synergy. Let us see what we can achieve with it because the other part of me still tells me that Femi is a politician and we know whom politicians are.
