THE INNOCENT COCKEREL
In the Igbo clan of Biafra where I was brought up, there is a particular adage by my people that says "Ochu Okuko nwe ada". He that runs after a Cockerel that does not belong to him must fall down in disgrace. We the Biafrans have been known globally as industrious, intelligent and peaceful, even before our adulterous romance with western civilization, cultures and religion. We have it in our theosophy and philosophy; “that all men are born equal and should be treated as such”.
We are the only tribe that never conquered anyone and, by principle and ideological consistence have refused vehemently to be conquered and cowed into submission by any race whether white or black.
"Emeere nwa ogwugwu emeere nwa anosike" meaning; what is good for the goose is equally good for the gander. "Egbe belu ugo belu, biri kam biri" meaning live and let live.
How else can we tell the world that we don't want trouble. UN, ICC, Amnesty International, HURIWA and all the frontline media outfit both local and international have all decided to remain mute as most intelligent, most industrious and peaceful people in the world; the Biafrans are facing another round of genocide in the hand of Britain and their agents of neo-colonialism ; the archaic, ruthless, mentally retarded, stone-age reasoning Fulani hegemonies, holding down the indigenous communities in Nigeria, in a brazen gorilla style, of conquest armed to teeth by Britain and her foreign allies.
One thing I wish to remind the world and Britain in particular is that, this generation of Biafrans will turn the table in international politics. This generation of Biafrans will bridge the gap between the black and the white. Britain playing as surrogate mum for terrorists holding the citizens of their contraption by jugular and masquerading as herders, bandits, abductors and repentant terrorists in military, will be taught the same lesson Vietnam taught the almighty America in own land. But In this case Britain will not survive, never ever, not with their hands soiled with blood of over 6 Million innocent Biafrans massacred 1967-1970 and masterminded by British in imperialist. The 10 Downing Street in London will no longer be in charge of our lives and future.
What happened in Ebonyi and Nsukka in the last few days and the presence of British army and defence in Aso rock is a quick reminder that the 1967 - 1970 Biafra genocide has not really ended, rather we only experienced an interlude for a change of modus operandi.
We must remain strong for Elohim is on the side of the righteous. "Ochu nwa okuko nwe ada. "
